A visit in St. Tropez

By Kristina Flesner

Every interesting city has its own special shopping mile. What is the Ku’damm in Berlin, the Maximilianstraße in Munich and the Kö in Düsseldorf, is called “Rue Francois Sibilli” in St. Tropez. The big brands have their flag stores here: Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Miu Miu, Zimmermann, Bottega Veneta, Rolex, Bulgari and many more can be found strung together like a string of pearls. New is the store of Balenciaga. The mini bags are very popular right now.

They are all presenting the latest trends of the season. Just as everything in St. Tropez is characterized by a very special nonchalance, the collections also show only unusual and progressive pieces that are difficult to find in this selection in other places.

Here is the new collection at Gucci.

The special highlight is the Dior Shop, which forms its own “world of experience”.

An old Provençal townhouse and the Dior Café-Restaurant “Des Lices”, beautifully inserted in the garden.

Here shopping and relaxing merge into each other.

Once I’ve turned into this street, it takes me a few hours to get my girlfriend out again…

Even if I actually rather love the small, individual stores, the Rue Francois Sibilli is nevertheless a must for each of your St. Tropez visits.

On this mile, I especially like the individual store Mairie with a super casual yet elegant selection without flashy labels.

These Saint-Tropez slippers also immediately catch my eye.

Le Civette (more classic) or Victoire (very fashionable) are multi-brands stores on Boulevard Louis Blanc or Le Depot, a vintage store worth visiting.

On Rue Gambetta there are other brand stores like Carolina Herrera or Emilio Pucci. At Maison Mer I often stop in and find something for home. Les Galerie Tropiziennes I know since I come to St. Tropez. Table and nightwear, bags. A colorful assortment of high quality products with an understatement character.

Handmade sandals Tropiziennes at Rondini are also a special tip in the small alley Rue Georges Clemenceau, which leads from the port to the Place des Lices. In this alley you can also find beautiful decoration stores with accessories around the table.

Have a great Sunday!!!
