The owner and designer Gunilla Sterud of the brand Caprice Decadent Bohemian I have met a few days ago in St. Tropez at the coffee shop Senequier and was excited about her and her products!
Gunilla (49) is an English teacher and still practices her profession. She studied English, French, art history and graphic design. She loves painting and drawing for all her life.
During a journey to Greece she had the idea to establish her own brand. ” My aim is to make high quality, yet affordable, jewelry that will last for decades, that will enhance your spirits, whether it is for everyday use or for a ball. My new models that are in touch with the current vibes in fashion, as well as daring to be ahead and provoking the established taste,” she tells me. The jewelry are made of Swarovski stones and the bags and loafers are of Uzbek silk velvet ikat.
The brand Caprice Decadent Bohemian Gunilla has just found in April 2015. The first successful exhibition gave her confidance to persue her dream.
Her products are availabe at about 25 stores in Norway in high end stores with funky and classical fashion or in Puerto Banus, Marbella at Ekseption, St.Tropez at Trinity, Santorini, at Cabana Nera, Nassau, Bahamas at The Island Store and e.g. in Oslo at Briskeby Gods.
As soon as the products are available in her online shop I will let you know …
On the photo Gunilla Sterud is wearing a blouse from the Norwegian Designer Cathrine Hammel, the shorts are from Ralph Lauren and the sandals are from Chloé.
