Transsylvanian Risotto

By Petra Dieners

Before the summer is ending, I would like to report about our favourite summer dish when there is no time for big menues. In the family of my husband the transsylvanian cooking recipe was passed from one generation to another over the decades. The dish is very delicious and light, perfect to prepare quickly during the week.

Combine ca. 600 gr. fried minced meet, small pieces of three to four kohlrabi and one cup of 20 minutes rice with vegetable stock and cook it about 20 minutes. Start with two to three big cups of vegetabe stock and fill in more if needed.

My loved ones like it with cider vinegar. I like it pure most. The dish can be served with a green salad. Success!
