Yesterday I have been to the IMM Cologne and have looked for the latest furniture trends. Everything comes back as well as the small lace cloth at Sancal. It looks cool! Also the tubes of paints in green look funny.
Beside the colours grey and taupe for upholstered furniture I still have seen a lot of turquoise/blue. But the main trend colour for seatings seems to be yellow. Most I like the armchairs from Verzelloni and Trussardi as well as the Sofa from Sancal.
As in fashion I could see another trend. Colours, shapes and materials are wildly mixed and in the end it is a harmonious composition. On the 240 sqm platform “interiors on stage” Sebastian Herkner has furnished the innovative house. He combines a green velours sofa with a pink and a orange/yellow armchair with a round wooden table, a white resin coffee table and a metal side table. On the sofa there were placed a blue blanket with pink. Does this fit together? The proof you can see on the photo on top!
Coffee tables are mostly round and a set of three in different hights. The tables from Gallotti & Radice have a fixed tray on top.
There is a lot of metal. Very often in gold, bronze and pink.
