Simone and Iris Kuechler have modeled for YSL, Missoni, Chanel and Hilfiger. In the sometimes superficial fashionmilieu, the two sisters stand for traditional values, natural beauty and glamour. They want to marry. Simone tells: “I would love to have three to five children!” Iris remarks: “Today it is not any more about emanzipation, but to keep our feminity and softness alive.”

Simone and Iris started the launch of MARIKAS with a handbag collection and are with their faces, the living ambassadrices of their lifestyle and value concept. The collection will also be about classical women couture, that they are already wearing themselves. A wonderful wool coat design I have already seen.

Botticelli “The birth of the Venus” was the inspiration for the beautiful  “Sweetie” and “ETUI Clutch” designs. See the Picture above. The two bags are made in an atelier in the heart of Paris. The embroidery and silk are crafted by hand. They are available in the colours turqouise and silver-grey. For orders and information – please send an email to: marikasmaison@marikasbags.com
